Cul 5: 5-a-side Gaelic Football
This was an interesting project to work on where Red Bull, in conjunction with Dublin footballer Bernard Brogan was offering some of the junior football clubs the opportunity to take part in a unique 5-a-side Gaelic Football Competition!
Red Bull Cúl 5 happened on Saturday, May 25th in a purpose built arena in the distinctive surroundings of Dublin Port!
it was important that the game was taking out of it natural setting in order to set the new concept apart. This as achieved by first searching for the ideal iconic industrial backdrop and then designing and creating an arena with an urban edge.
With a set up and take down that lasted a month .You can see from the footage we truly achieved something that was original and unique.
The competition was played in a straight knockout format with games lasting 10 minutes. Red Bull Cúl 5 also featured a number of rule changes, designed to promote a fast-paced & exciting game!
