Rock ‘n’ roll at its very best is what riders and tens of thousands of live spectators experienced at the Red Bull X-Fighters 2007 tour stop at Slane Castle, Ireland on May 26. In a modern Celtic “Battle of the High Kings” at the banks of the River Boyne, it was a fight to become the “High King” on two wheels. Slane will have a large course with many different dirt take-off options and landing faces. The “High King” will be the one to ride this totally new and different freestyle track set-up with the most difficult tricks and great execution, variety of tricks and usage of course, style and show aspects, and overall impression….
This ambitious event required 110,000 tons of dirt to be moved into the site for what was the biggest track ever built at the time and also introduced the first quarter pipe ever to be used in freestyle moto x competition .The night of the Red Bull X-Fighters also had Ash, Afro Celt Sound System, Director and The Blizzards play and rock the venue .
