Red Bull Under My Wing

This project had very credible grass roots feel to it that involved world Superbike sensation Jonathan Rea, along with his sponsor Red Bull, it was searching for Ireland’s next young motorcycling stars. As part of the exciting new motorsport project he  returned home to his roots to find, and help nurture, some of the country’s best young riders.

‘Red Bull Under My Wing’ offered a select group of the Island’s top bikers an opportunity to take part in a unique workshop with Jonathan. At the end of the two-day event, one rider will be chosen to go ‘under the wing’ of Ballyclare’s most celebrated hero. The prize will include a trip to a round of the World Superbike Championship and a one-on-one track session with Jonathan towards the end of 2013 and also a trial in spain for the Red Bull Rookies program.

It was great to see the rookies get such a kick out of the two day schooling in Nutts Corner.
